iRemedy Signs Agreement with Universal and AlloTech of South Korea

Stuart, FL - February 20, 2017 – iRemedy Healthcare, CEO, Tony Paquin announced that iRemedy and Universal Medical Products (USA distributor) have entered into an exclusive supply contract for a single use surgical power tool, the Terra AT 3.0, manufactured by AlloTech of South Korea. The distribution agreement is forecasted to generate $150 million in sales over the five-year period of the agreement.

The Terra AT 3.0 series is an orthopedic single-use hand-piece jointly developed by Allotech and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (Medical Biosystem Group Dr. Ko, ChulWoong). It is an innovative product that was developed for the first time in the world in order to prevent the secondary infection of patients due to incomplete washing and sterilization of existing reusable medical surgical power tools.

The Terra AT 3.0 will be available through iRemedy at iRemedy is the nation’s exclusive provider of a healthcare ecommerce platform that provides direct purchasing of medical supplies, devices, consumer products, and drugs by healthcare professionals.

Universal Medical Products, Inc. is a specialist distributor of orthopedic medical devices, primarily from Zimmer Biomet, a major medical device manufacturer, and Medacta, a Swiss manufacturer of artificial joints.
